MDGs

"Adopted by world leaders in the year 2000 and set to be achieved by 2015, the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) provide concrete, numerical benchmarks for tackling extreme poverty in its many dimensions."

Students searching for information on the MDGs will be pleased to find there is no shortage of resources on this subject. Reports on  progress of the MDGs can be found at the UNDP website as well as news, statistics and a calendar of events.  MDGs can be tracked by country or goal, here; progress can also be tracked in the national MDG reports published by UNDP.
