Research has been carried out across 120 new businesses across the world, on the subject of first sales made by entrepreneurs; they were asked the questions: 'How, when, and why did you make your first sales, and looking back on that process, what do you wish you'd done differently? The conclusions to the research have been provided in this HBR blog post.
