The Institute of Directors (IoD) was founded in 1903 and were soon after awarded a Royal Charter to support, represent and set standards for business leaders nationwide. The organisation also encourages and helps develop entrepreneurial talent through community, creating strong networks as well as offering access to professional guidance on growing start-ups. The website includes news, insights and their magazine. There is also a section for students with resources and factsheets, student services and details of events.
